hanging in for Zooomr

Thanks ImageShack!looks like Flickr has decided to develop again now that it is part of Yahoo!. it also looks like we aren’t being told about everything that flickr has been up to. to have any of my photos tagged and removed from public search without my knowledge is outright wrong. i do like the new collections thing that they have done and i did spend a few minutes this morning playing around with it.

wait! this started out as a rant and i am pointing out good things in the next sentence and why is the pic of Zooomr? well, i’m not so worried about what the hell flickr is doing right now (and of course i may eat my words later) because Zooomr is about to launch Mark III. call it what you will version 3, mark 3 i am just hoping to get some functionality that i have felt has been missing in all photo sites. this one can do this, this one can do that and we pick the lesser of all evils to go with. i will admit i have had my issues with Zooomr and it really is nice to have a plugin directly in aperture to upload to flickr, but i really don’t see that a plugin will be too far out for Zooomr. i wish i could give you specifics about my gripes but i always forget specifics and just get comortable with what i can control.

look for Zooomr’s Mark III release on March 15th.
