Where to begin?

So much has happened since our last post.  Not the least of which is a crawling, pulling to standing and sometimes cruising Leo!!  He’s all over the place and we can now say that we are just beginning to understand what everyone meant when they kept saying “watch out!”  We say “watch out” a lot now – be it to Leo or to each other.  We’ve had a couple of (thankfully) minor bumps and bruises but appear to be very resilient. We have tons of pictures of Leo but more and more are coming out blurry because he just will not sit still!  He’s also a very good eater.  Loves solids – is opting more for finger food; less for purees these days – and had his first taste of goat cheese tonight.  Not the least bit surprising that he liked it, after all he is his Granny’s (Lauren’s) grandson.

Another major change outside of Leo’s ongoing and amazing development is that the Sakowitz’ are moving back to Sacramento.  Alisa is managing the Auburn office, quite happily and Rob continues to be focused on Leo.  Grandpa and GiGi were kind enough to open their doors (and temporarily ratchet down neatness and cluter expectations!) and allow us to move in while we look for a place and wait anxiously for the house in Oakland to sell.  We’ve been focused on Granite Bay/Roseville as our next destination.  I must say that I don’t recognize the place from when I was a kid.  It was recently pointed out to me though that there have been hidden gems in Rosevill all along… Carson Gross being at the top of that list as far as the Sakowitz are concerned!

Anyhow, we have a lot to be thankful for.  Life is pretty darn good.  We hope the same is true for all of you.  We’ll cut it short here since we know most of you are in it for the pictures anyway!!
